No 1.
Select timeless plate ware to set the foundation of your table. Whether registering for tableware or investing in new ceramics for a refresh, I love to select quality-driven, classic tableware to layer into my tablescape. Guests always notice beautifully crafted china!
No 2.
Depending on the size of your table, mark 2-4 place settings for arrangements. Opt for tall glass hurricanes filled with branches or candles which will not steal too much table surface, and will create a beautiful visual.
No 3.
Candlelight is intrinsic to any table scape. I love to mix brass and ceramic candlestick holders with gorgeous tapers in subtle colours. Flickering light creates the most romantic atmosphere to carry you into the evening.
No 4.
Introduce colour through textiles. Source a beautiful Nutmeg napkin for your Thanksgiving tablescape, and see the power in transformation when switching that for a gorgeous subdued green for the festive holidays.
No 5.
Inspire your table with the simplest of decor. I love to pile gourds, pumpkins, and squash in the center of our thanksgiving table to create an interesting yet affordable tablescape. Whereas for Christmas we will add sparkly baubles, and ornaments to our table from decorations we have collected over the years!
